Ingredients


  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup urad dal (split black lentils)
  • 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions


  • Soak rice, dal, and fenugreek seeds in water for 4-5 hours.
  • Grind the soaked mixture into a smooth batter.
  • Add salt and water to the batter to get a pouring consistency.
  • Heat a griddle, pour a ladle of batter, spread into a circle, and cook with oil.
  • Flip the dosa and cook until golden brown. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
