Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 cup urad dal (split black lentils)
- 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Soak rice, dal, and fenugreek seeds in water for 4-5 hours.
- Grind the soaked mixture into a smooth batter.
- Add salt and water to the batter to get a pouring consistency.
- Heat a griddle, pour a ladle of batter, spread into a circle, and cook with oil.
- Flip the dosa and cook until golden brown. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
